Du linge de lit en lin pour passer l'hiver au chaud - Label Naturel

A warm winter or nothing!

As winter approaches and temperatures drop, we only want one thing: to be warm. For this, we have all arranged our room into a cozy cocoon to take refuge under the duvet whenever we have the opportunity.

Certainly, having a thick, fluffy, soft and warm duvet will help us get through the winter warm. But be careful, the choice of bed linen should not be neglected! Bed linen will provide your bed with additional comfort and will be a complementary source of heat if you choose the right material. Often we tend to turn to cotton bed linen, but this is not the only natural material that will keep you warm.

Do you know linen?

A natural fiber with multiple properties, linen combines comfort, softness and warmth. Recognized for its thermoregulatory properties, linen bed linen will be perfectly suited to winter nights... but not only that!

The ultimate thermo-regulatory material to keep you warm all winter long

With excellent thermoregulatory properties, linen warms the coldest in winter and cools in summer. The ventilation of its fibers allows air and humidity to pass through. Thanks to this, linen is able to absorb 20% water without appearing damp. Linen bed linen maintains an optimal temperature during the night and ensures you a healthy and peaceful sleep whatever the season...

Linen bed linen for winter, but not only that...

We can never repeat it enough, but the elegance and timeless style of linen is an immediate adoption! To make your bedroom a trendy and cozy cocoon, this is the ideal material. Pleasant in all seasons, your sleep will thank you for sleeping in these ultra-comfortable sheets.

As light as it may seem, linen has the advantage of keeping us warm without having the feeling of weight on the body. Over time and use, your linen sheets will soften to your delight. Free to move and wrapped comfortably, your nights will be soft and calm. You won't be able to do without it!

FAQs

What is washed linen?
Washed linen is linen pre-washed in the workshop (often with a stone or by gentle mechanical washing) to soften the fiber, stabilize the dimensions and obtain a naturally wrinkled drape. It becomes smoother from the first night, with no break-in time. This treatment also limits the risk of subsequent shrinkage.
What are the advantages of washed linen bed linen?
Thermoregulator, linen retains heat in winter and remains breathable in summer. It absorbs moisture quickly, promoting healthier sleep, and its long fiber is known to be durable over time. Hypoallergenic and naturally antibacterial, it is suitable for sensitive skin while offering a sober and timeless elegance.
How to care for washed linen bed linen?
Wash at 30–40°C with a Detergent soft, without brighteners or chlorine, and avoid fabric softeners (the fiber softens naturally). Choose moderate spinning (≈800 rpm) and air drying; tumble dry, use a delicate low temperature cycle and take out the slightly damp laundry. Wash separately or with like colors and turn covers inside out to preserve the surface.
Should you iron washed linen?
No, the charm of washed linen lies in its naturally wrinkled effect. If you want a smoother finish, iron on a still slightly damp linen with steam (“linen” position) or steam with a steamer. Lay flat or on a hanger to limit wrinkles before drying completely.
Does washed linen shrink when washed?
Pre-washing in the workshop stabilizes the material and limits shrinkage. A slight shrinkage (a few percent) may occur during the first washes, especially at high temperatures or with intensive drying. Respect 30–40°C, moderate spinning and gentle drying helps maintain the dimensions.
How to remove stains from washed linen bed linen?
Treat quickly: dab with cold water, then apply Marseille soap or a mild stain remover, leaving it to act for a few minutes before washing. For greasy stains, a baking soda + water paste can help; rinse well. Avoid bleach and harsh whitening agents which weaken the fiber and alter the color.
