• Safety first

When moving from a sleeping bag to a duvet, it is essential that your child feels safe. For optimal well-being of your child, duvets combine comfort and safety. It is therefore recommended to opt for a children's duvet as soon as your child is 1 year old because certain reflexes, such as lowering the duvet to breathe, are not present before.

• Depending on the size of the bed

The size of the bed is what you need to consider first. The goal is to find a duvet that sticks out a little on each side of the bed to have a perfect balance.

If your child's bed measures 60 x 120 cm, we advise you to choose a duvet measuring 80 x 120 cm. However, if your child tends to move around a lot at night, opt for a 110 x 135 cm duvet so that he is always covered no matter the movements he makes during his sleep.

• Depending on the heat index

For children sleeping in a room where the temperature is equal to or above 20 degrees, opt for a light duvet such as a summer duvet. The latter is also suitable for children sensitive to heat.

Conversely, for children sensitive to the cold or for rooms heated below 20 degrees, choose a fairly warm duvet such as a winter duvet.
