FAQs

What is the difference between a scarf, a stole and a shawl?
The scarf is narrower and designed to be wrapped around the neck. The stole is wider and can be worn on the shoulders as well as as an elegant accessory. The shawl is often larger and more enveloping, ideal for protecting from the cold while remaining chic.
What size should I choose for a lambswool scarf or stole?
For a scarf, the ideal length is between 150 and 200 cm, with a width of around 30 to 40 cm. A more enveloping stole often measures between 160 and 220 cm long and 60 to 80 cm wide.
How to care for a lambswool scarf or stole?
Lambswool is best washed by hand, in lukewarm water with a Detergent special wool. Avoid mechanical spinning and always dry flat, away from a heat source. A simple aerator is enough between two washes to restore freshness and volume.
Can you wear a wool stole as a fashion accessory?
Yes, the stole is both practical and aesthetic. Worn on the shoulders, wrapped around the neck or left free, it brings a refined touch to a dressy outfit as well as a more casual look.
Is lambswool suitable for sensitive skin?
Yes, lambswool from the first shearing (lambswool) is particularly fine and soft. It is therefore perfectly suited to sensitive skin, unlike certain thicker or rough wools.
