Why choose our Merino lambswool throws and blankets
Our partner brand, Ourson de Robin Marieton, selects and assembles Merinos from all over the world. The Merino sheep breed provides a fine, luminous wool whose softness is comparable to that of Cashmere. Equipped with perfected crafts, Robin Marieton uses all his know-how to exploit the qualities of wool without tormenting it. It is scraped, knitted, woven and pampered in the brand's workshops.
The Woolmark® label
The certificate Woolmark® is used to identify goods that contain virgin wool from the shearing of healthy, living animals, as opposed to wool recovered from the fleeces of slaughtered animals and recycled wool. Woolmark® wool comes from Australia or New Zealand. Since 1850, Ourson has selected breeds of sheep, "Romney" style for their fleeces offering the advantage of giving thickness to the product for greater warmth while retaining the natural properties of wool.
