Pure Merino wool & Cashmere Ossau plain blanket
Why choose our Woolen Throw merino and cashmere
Wool is one of the most natural fibers available. Warm, soft, light and easy to wear, it breathes freely and accompanies the body in its movements.
The Cashmere comes from the long, silky hair of the Mongolian sheep. In winter, to protect the sheep from the icy and cold wind, a dense down of fine, supple hair lines their summer coat. This down is removed with a brush during spring moulting on the animals' chests. It is then whitened using a rice flour preparation, then dyed in various colors, then woven, washed and assembled with imperceptible seams. Incomparably soft, Cashmere is warm, light and has a silky feel. It is used in the composition of exceptional throws and blankets.
The Merino is a breed of sheep native to Australia whose breeding continues in Spain and Provence and whose dense and curly fleece gives abundant, elastic and very resistant wool. Very soft and silky, Merino wool is three times finer than traditional wool and therefore absolutely does not itch. It is also very insulating, thermoregulatory and also ensures significant absorption of humidity. So you don't sweat at all.
The combination of these two wools makes this throw an exceptional product.

I bought a "soft touch ecological virgin wool" throw (~60€) and a "pure Merino & Cashmere wool" throw (~110€). I needed 2 plaids so I took the opportunity to offer myself the comparison.
The ordering, transport and delivery part was no problem: I received the plaids in a well-sized box and on the date indicated.
The Woolen Throw Ecological virgin is a mechanically woven plaid that can be found on the "least of the range" i.e. you can see the weaving done by the machine, a regular grid weave. The wool is not compressed and therefore the air is insulating. Let's be clear, this plaid is not low-end. It is still pretty and above all it dyes warm, which is the main thing (for me). The announced size of 140x200 can be a point of conflict as I read in another comment. You have to understand that the plaid (wool) is elastic and the 140x200 is surely reached when you stretch the plaid. I measured a gap of several centimeters but frankly nothing serious unless your use requires a "real" 140x200. On the other hand, the size allows you to fold the blanket once to have 2 layers on you if necessary. Note that it is not Merino wool so it scratches a little in direct contact with the skin. The site mentions it so it's not a surprise. For my part, I adapt to it rather well, telling myself that it contributes to the reinforcement of the feeling of warmth :). In short, I am very happy with this blanket that I used in April every day Cold and wet.
Woolen Throw ecological gives a feeling of thermal barrier more immediate and stronger than with the Merino blanket while the second one seems to block a little less quickly or a little less strongly, without overheating effect the minutes that follow. In any case, the Merino blanket is VERY pleasant to use.
To put my opinion into perspective, note that I am not accustomed to blankets, I have probably missed important information, and my assessment of the product quality is made without knowing the market references. Also, keep in mind that I have used the eco wool blanket much more than the Merino blanket.
In conclusion, I would say that if you prioritize efficiency for minimal spending, choose the Woolen Throw eco blanket (a bit scratchy but very bearable), and if you want a beautiful blanket with 'regulated' warmth, the Merino blanket seems to me to be a good choice.
I don't understand why my order hasn't arrived, could you check what's going on?
Thank you sophie sorin
